Final Report of SVENSK

The svensk project has developed an integrated toolbox of language processing components and resources for Swedish. Priority has been given to developing the toolbox for teaching (such as student projects) and research projects where a natural language interface is required. The toolbox is based on the GATE language engineering platform and will incorporate language processing tools developed at SICS or contributed by external sources. The rst version of SVENSK integrates three components: a Constraint Grammar which provides a parts-of-speech and functional analysis of input text; a uniication-based grammar and parser; and a parser which produces domain-speciic semantics.
